Default 2015 Sunvisor upgrade

Despite the great interiors in all the Audi's we've owned the sun visors have left much to be desired. Our 1995 Ford Explorer had much more useable sun visors. A year ago we upgraded our old A4 Avant to a new 2018 A4 allroad and eventually discovered that the sun visor actually extended, so when it was in the side position you could actually block the sun from your face. Unfortunately our recently acquired 2015 A3 didn't have this feature. So after searching around for a while, I was reasonably sure that the B9 A4 sun visor was the same as the 8V A3 so I ordered a set from eBay (used from a recent A4 write-0ff).
This weekend, I had some time to see if i was correct.

The color of the grey A4 visor wasn't a perfect match, but given the shadow effect it really isn't noticeable. The first visor took about 15 minutes as I wasn't sure how much pressure to apply in popping out the small cover and I struggled to undo the electrical plug. I managed to finally get things apart with no damage so the care and few minutes was worth it. The second visor took less than 2 minutes.

So a simple upgrade that is very useful and practical.

(I'd be happy to share some pics - but after uploading I'm not sure what to do to get them to show up here)
