The problem is I think Audi thinks that might be true, but in reality it's not. The 2 cars simply do not compete against each other. Ever since the S4 stopped production, I don't think we put a single S4 buyer into an S3. In fact, we've put almost no body into an S3, we have 15 of them in stock (a lot for an S model) which is more than the number of A3s we have and we are a large dealer.
The 3 just doesn't compete with the 4. If you suggest an A3 to a potential A4 buyer, most would take a base A4 over a well equipped A3. Many customers just see them as being in a different class and rarely ever consider both.

New order guide today. Only change is that instead of black/ magma seats for the S3, now it just says magma (so I guess seats are all red now). Horsepower still says 292.

Does anyone know if the 2017 E-Tron will have the active lane assist like the 2017 A3 Prestige? Also what is the likelihood the 2017 etron will also get the refresh?

I've noticed in all of the press photos so far that the euro A3's get the Ara Blue color whereas the US order form only has it listed for the S3 - the A3 is left with the darker "cosmos blue metallic" just like previous years. Do you think it will be possible to custom order the A3 to get Ara Blue here in the US? It's an absolute beautiful color and I don't think the cosmos blue even comes close to it.
