2018’s don’t come with an MMI oil gauge?!?!
I just picked up my 2018 S3 last night. I’m making progress figuring out all the awesome tech. It appears the 2018’s do not have the in cockpit oil level gauge. I talked to my salesman over the phone and he walks me through where it should be (he has a 2017 S3). When I told him it wasn’t there, he checked the RS3 in the showroom and it wasn’t in that car as well. Looks like Audi removed this functionality for 2018? Salesman was surprised that Audi didn’t make an announcement on that, but says they will do that with certain features from time to time.
With some Audi’s propensity to burn oil, it’s disconcerting to have this functionality removed.

As for oil level, it is done manually with the dipstick like the good ol days. I am sure with a bit of digging in VCDS, one may find the value but in order to get it to work right several factors are needed knowing the Germans (temp, hood switch input, engine off timer, ect.)

That is oil temp, not oil level. But yes you can code oil temp on via VCDS.

I personally didn’t see it, but my sales guy walked me through the MMI settings (over the phone) of where it is on his 2017 S3...same location where the tire pressure monitoring is. Soooo.....all you pre 2018 guys can confirm that is not the case?

No oil level gauge here - and I haven't heard of any S3's having it - even back in 2015/2016. If you have virtual cockpit you automatically get the oil temp gauge on some of the VC screens, if you don't have virtual cockpit you can enable the oil temp gauge through VCDS/Carista/OBD11 - but no option on either for oil level gauge.
