I came from a B8.5 S4 sedan and it had a much better one (aka updated) so I was really surprised. So the fact our 2017/18 S3s and RS3s come with the same one I have for my 2006 A3 is pathetic. There is absolutely no reason we should be getting the old switchblade style keys nowadays when we have push start technology.
ah yes I see. Never mind on the pic, found what you're referring to. Agree with ya.

Ours at Audi Turnersville was released this morning, so yours shouldn't be far behind.
I have one 2018 Audi RS3 and one 2018 Audi RS5 available in stock at Audi Turnersville selling at MSRP.

It's fun to see all the new owners getting their cars. We haven't really yet uncovered exactly what the port hold was all about though, have we?

I'm looking at the key fob for an A5 loaner I just got and THAT is what we should be getting for the S3/RS3 at the very least.
True, but it is still an A3 based car, so things will be consistent among them.

RS7 guys can say that their key is the same as a 2013 A6 or even A4......and so on and so forth

Yeah I know but you'd think that paying $50k+ for an A3 based car can at least get you a better key fob. Actually, the standard A3 should simply get a nicer, updated one. I can't understand the necessity of having the switchblade style as it makes no sense to have it.

The R8 still has the old style key fob. It stays in my pocket, really doesn't matter what it looks like.
