You mean the key fob? I don't have the A3 key on me now but I can later. It's EXACTLY the same key, trust me. It's also the same key I have for my S3. I remember being really disappointed (and I posted this) when seeing the antique key fob that comes with the S3. I came from a B8.5 S4 sedan and it had a much better one (aka updated) so I was really surprised. So the fact our 2017/18 S3s and RS3s come with the same one I have for my 2006 A3 is pathetic. There is absolutely no reason we should be getting the old switchblade style keys nowadays when we have push start technology.

I like that Arrow Gray. I have not seen that color in person. I just can't get over the fact Audi gives us these crappy key fobs for the S3 and RS3. They present them in a cool box and it makes me laugh. That exact same key has been around since at least 2005 because I have the same one on my A3. I'm looking at the key fob for an A5 loaner I just got and THAT is what we should be getting for the S3/RS3 at the very least.
RS7 guys can say that their key is the same as a 2013 A6 or even A4......and so on and so forth

Yeah I know but you'd think that paying $50k+ for an A3 based car can at least get you a better key fob. Actually, the standard A3 should simply get a nicer, updated one. I can't understand the necessity of having the switchblade style as it makes no sense to have it.

The R8 still has the old style key fob. It stays in my pocket, really doesn't matter what it looks like.
