Default 2019 Audi RS3?

Put in pre-order for 2019 Audi RS3. Have heard nothing. Are they going to be made?

Same here. Coincidentally I asked my sales guy about it today, he said "it still shows distribution hold with an estimated end of October/beginning of Nov. production"

No indication that they won't get built. Fingers crossed for a delivery this year...

I would be shocked if that were the case. The RS3 is going no where right now due to the popularity and demand. Don't worry, it will get built. Things like this happen. My RS3 took 3.5 months, and it took about a month before i received my confirmation saying my RS3 was scheduled to be built. Least you won't have to go through what my father went through on his TTRS. His car was in the USA for 2 months awaiting a tune for emissions. Total time from order date till delivery was a little over 5 months.

I feel you, after placing an order I wish I just found an RS3 on a lot to drive home. It will be worth the wait though!

If you want it now, look at the used RS3 market. Most are 2018's, low mileage and, options being fairly limited, easy to get what you want at a substantial discount. The ACNA has a sale page on Facebook and there are other places to look too. I waited over 4 months for my 2018 and will probably sell it soon, there are bargains to be had if you look for them.

Just curious, why are you going to sell your RS3 soon?

In all honesty, the car is very fast and very comfortable but I feel out of place in it. It seems to be aimed at people a bit younger than me. I traded a 911 for it and will probably go back to Porsche as my probable last big purchase. I wish I could keep it and something else but it’s not in the cards for me.

Ordered a 12019 in July, just got an update from our dealer: "They've actually pushed back production on the 2019 RS3 models until the 3rd week of January. UGGGGHHHHH!"

Well, you win the prize for the most unusual car change, but you picked a good one and have good taste in cats! (your tee-shirt).
