Default Anyone purchased an RS3 under msrp? If so how much?

I currently have a 2017 S3 (love it), but really want to get a 2018 RS3. All the dealers I have contacted in the Los Angeles area still want ABOVE sticker ($5000). These cars are now starting to be pretty available at the dealerships in the Los Angeles area. There are 27 within an hour or so drive from my house. And dealer inventories are showing 2-4 more cars/dealer coming in soon. There should be 40-50 available shortly. I would think the dealers would start to ease on the prices. And the lease deals are horrendous. I would also think, and hope that Audi would set a better residual and better money factor soon. I pay 490.00/month + tax on my S3, 3 year lease, 10,000 miles/year, and only put $1500.00 drive off down, including the first payment. ($51,000.00 msrp, got it about $4000 under msrp, I think). I am now being quoted $950.00-$1098.00 per month on a $63,000.00 2018 RS3. Anyone?

Wow, that’s pricey for the RS3. Like you said, I’d wait a bit esp since the S3 lease is not close to being finished.

I would never pay above MSRP price for any car.

I bought my 2017 RS3 for 5% under MSRP and Audi Care thrown in as well.

I didn't get quite as good a deal as the one above, but I did purchase mine below MSRP.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the residual and MF for your '17? With only $1,500 down, I'm curious what other incentives they may have offered to get your payment at $490/month. Tax credits? You trade in anything?

I recently got into an '18 S3 (had a '15 previously) and with the residual at only 50% this time around, I couldn't nearly get as good of a deal. Did you get into a presitge, as well? Feel free to shoot me a PM, if you'd like!

DIG ONLY,

No trade in, no tax credits. After some haggling, that is what they agreed to. Lease was based on probably $6000 or so under msrp, but I would have to check my paperwork. I am not sure what the residual or MF was at that time, again, I would have to check my paperwork. But I pay $540.00 including tax. Tax is almost 10% in LA county, 9.75%. My car is a premium plus, black optics package, sport seats, tech package including virtual cockpit, but no BO sound system.

You gotta pay to play, as they say. Paying MSRP or above for a mass produced car is the last thing I will do. I suspect more bargaining power come February and beyond. Everything cools off given time. Hey Audi, I'm still waiting for a sportback version to hit North America though I'm not holding my breath!

Nice! I must be missing something, at least on my end. MSRP was 51,xxx and I also got them down about 6k under sticker. Fortunately, tax is 6.25% for us. I traded in a car and put 1k down which, before TT&L, put me around 40k. Out the door was somewhere around 44k IIRC. With a 50% residual and .00145 MF, the deal was fair for both parties, according to my math.

I'm in an '18, Premium Plus, Black Optics, S Sport Pack and Tech Pack. with BO. Currently paying $570/month for 36 months and 10k miles/year.

I say wait it out for deals to become better. You're in a freaking '17 S3 what's the rush?
You're also gonna get killed on trading it in for the RS3.
