Default Floor liners vs floormats

Would appreciate advice/opinions on whether to get Weathertech floor liners or all weather floormats and trunk liners. Have always gotten the Audi products in the past, but don't care to have "A3" labels on my S3.

The WeatherTech floor liners give more protection from winter slush on your feet during the deeps of winter (if you live in such an area). You better avoid the salt stains on your carpet. The Audi style all-weather are well made but tend to overflow in the worst part of the winter. WeatherTech also sells floor mats but those wouldn't provide this protection.

You avoid the A3 in S3 logo issue going with the WT front floor liners. You can go with the Audi's in the rear as there is no logo and I believe the Audi's are less expensive than the WT.

I have the Weather Tech liners and trunk mat. All are A+

I always buy Weather Tech and they are outstanding! Resale value of the floor liners is good too!

My MB does not see snow, for it I installed WT mats. They are first rate.

My Wife's S3 is due June 15th. As we are in central PA and its a daily driver I'll go with liners.

Her current ride had mats only and the carpet does get salt stained. With the liners riding higher up the sides I expect they'll prevent the stains.

I went with Weathertec liners and am glad I did. I'm moving to Florida next month and have no intention of replacing them with mats.

If you can't decide between floor mats and floor liners, I would offer you to check an article on our website, where we described the difference between them: What Are The Differences Between Floor Mats And Floor Liners?
WeatherTech Liners are our best-selling products and we receive a lot of positive comments about them. I think they look great in Audi, and you can see this based on the pictures scutchins posted above.

I recommend the liners to everyone. Hands down the best money you will spend on protection.

Floor liners from WT are the absolute best. But just for the bad weather months for me. I like carpeted mats for the summer. The ones that came with my S3 are not fantastic however. Semi looking for some nice replacements. Not in a hurry however. Have put WT liners in all current family vehicles as well as 2 cars prior to my S3.

drober30; sent you a PM on another subject............
