And it didnt work at first but left the car for ten minutes and now it says RS3.

Spoke to Alex from VAGCarCoding.com who has been trying to crack the RS upshift light mod for S3.
He's quite the cryptic fellow and wouldn't release too many details, but in a nutshell he wasn't able to create a mod since the S3 is missing some essential hardware.
Not sure what the hardware is or how easy it would be to retrofit, but this is where the issue stands. Wish I had more to share.

Have a US Spec 2018 S5 Sportback and turned on the G-Meter. Resulting in a pretty screen but no activity other than the numbers changing colors when the car comes to a stop and then when in motion. Anyone know if they deleted the module on the 2018 MY? And if so anyone know if it can be put back in to activate the G-Meter on the S Series?
