Is the Full LED headlight only capable of doing this with the DRL?

You guys who don't get this thread, you got me wondering how close do you look at your car.
I realize now our A3/S3's both lack the LED tail light design shown in the 2nd video because those are the Matrix LED light, that I read that our outdated US laws have banned, thus if you go out and look at the back of your car, turn on your turn signal you will see the compromised we got from Audi on our vehicles. Our tail lights are not nearly as cool looking as the tail lights shown in the 2nd video I posted.
I was originally just looking at that video for the head-lights since they are Bi-Xenon like mine minus the fog lights. But I'd happy go without foglights if Audi just kept our headlight blinkers consistent with the Euro A3/S3.
It's definitely not a US restriction as I seen a Chrysler SUV other day with DRL with it's blinkers on at the intersection and of course its DRL were still lit up.
Also in the first video with the Full LED lights I was talking about the pulsating DRL shown. Is that Full LED exclusive. I know the DRL on Full LED headlight has the ability to go amber and act as a blinker. Not sure why the DRL on the Full LED can do that but the Bi-Xenon DRL cannot. The DRL turning off for the solid amber light to blink for turn signal is not consistent with the the Euro A3/S3 as shown in the 2nd video posted.

The DRL are programmed to wink when you use the turn signal. This occurs on A4 and Q5 and probably all other Audi's. It may be a US DOT requirement since I see the same thing occurring on US manufactured vehicles.
The good news is the winking is programmable via VAG-COM. Haven't done it yet on the S3, but have on A4 and Q5. Interesting, my Q5 reverted back after a visit to dealer for service. I guess they had a update to perform and they reset everything back to default.

Does anyone know why the taillights of our US models are completely red.
Even the blinking/emergency lights are red. They should be amber yellow. They look better amber yellow. I google Youtube the Euro A3s that were first to be seen they all have amber blinkers. At first I thought this was some special LED light, but it I just took another look at the rear lights on my A3 and it looks like we just got red-only lights.
Am I the only one disappointed at this.
See this A3 at 0:56, a change probably viewed small I think it very significant.

amber rear turns signals are significantly better than red. Not just in looks but safety.

I am sure Audi doesn't want to have different front and rear lights than the rest of the world. It costs them extra $$$. But that is what federal DOT requires. Audi wants to sell cars in the USA. We can get over it or move to another country.
