Default How do I Turn Engine Off & Keep MMI On

I have a 2016 A3 with the key-less feature and the non navigation MMI. I can't seem to figure out how to do a simple thing. I'm looking for a way to turn the engine off and keep the MMI on. I often have a scenario where I am in a phone call using Bluetooth when I reach my destination. At this point, I would like to turn the engine off and keep the Bluetooth running. When I push the Engine Stop button, the engine and the MMI loss power. I then can turn it back on without the engine, but I loss Bluetooth connectivity for about 30 seconds during this off and back on procedure.

Anyone figure out how to overcome this? Most cars keep the radio and such powered until a door opens, but that isn't the case with the Audi.

Not sure about when turning off Engine, but if the car is not running you can turn on mmi without turning over the engine by pressing the start button with your foot OFF the brake.

Nevermind. I guess I should read the whole post before replying.

+1 with MMI/NAV

Motor running
Foot OFF brake
Push stop button
Motor stops MMI/radio (FM) keeps playing
Bluetooth phone call did not disconnect

Open door everything shuts down including call.

i have no nav, and as soon as i press the button, motor shuts off and screen hides in the dash. I wonder if you can adjust the preference w/ vagcom?

I've not seen a VAG mod that would change this behvior.

Another way to turn on the MMI when the car is turned off is to press the radio volume button (assuming your keyfob is in the car).
