Question about Trip Odometer
I still can't figure this out but can anyone tell me how to have the 1st trip odometer not reset everytime I start the engine?
I know the 2nd trip odometer is the total mileage for the car, but seems like the 1st one resets everytime I turn off the engine.
I just want to reset it after I fill up so I know how many miles I ran on the tank. Thanks!

I think you're confusing the two onboard computer memories with a trip odometer.
obc1 resets automatically after two hours of non-use.
obc2 never resets automatically. I typically reset this on at ever fill-up.
The trip odometer is typically only visible when you switch the car on/off or when the upper display is in onboard computer mode. The reset button is above the steering column (labelled 0.0)
I hate to be an RTFM guy, but its all in there.

I guess I can't edit my own post.
Resetting either of the obc numbers manually is accomplished by pressing and holding the left steering wheel scroll button when either is visible on the upper display.

Thanks for clarifying. Last question, where do I go for the total mileage on my car then? Sorry for the noob question as this is my first Audi.

It's definitely there when you turn on/off the car. I think its also visible on the upper display when in 'on-board computer' mode.
