In my s3 I find the dynamic to be a bit too loud over little bumps so I mostly kept it in comfort which was too soft... I read the fixed is slightly less harsh than the dynamic setting in mag ride so it should be just right but we'll see

Yah looks like no R8 times available for me to test drive with my availability... i will however be at the after dark event. Test driving the RS3 on Saturday

May I ask what you mean by "loud" over little bumps? Do you mean stiff or harsh?

A bit harsh but I mean loud too... that bang sound when you hit pretty much any bump... the perfect example if you live in Toronto is heading south on the dvp right after you go over the 401 there is a little lip in the road unless in comfort its a really loud pop or bang

Personally, I pretty much stay in Dynamic mode and really like it. In addition to that, I have the resonator delete option which "enhances" the exhaust note and love it.
