Quick question to anyone smarter than myself. I have the Audi sound system but down have channel 47, but I do have the sorry little "subwoofer" in the rear deck. Does not having channel 47 mean I don't in fact have a subwoofer in the eyes of the MMI? Or is this part of the MMI update?

Will my MY18 A3 Sportback that I just bought come with the subwoofer control in MMI?
Hello everyone. I have just bought a new A3 Sportback 2017 MY18 2.0 TFSI with ***. When I saw the demo car at the dealer (it was MY17) it have the subwoofer on the boot, with the spare wheel, but no control for the sub in MMI.
Does anyone knows if mine, being MY18, will have the sub control? I am in need of that info since I will not receive the car if no subwoofer control on MMI, specially because I am buying that car as a replacement for an A1 with another problem on the MMI.

Yup, High Beam Assist is only in Prestige because that's the only trim for the 2016/2017 that gets Active Lane Assist which HBA uses it's camera.
Active Lane Assist was only made available for Premium Plus for the 2015 model.
But you have to use VCDS or Obdeleven to enable HBA on the US models.
I have it on my 2015 A3 P+.

No fix for me. Car was at dealer and they said there isn't an update. I may need to tell my dealer to take a second look. The survey I get will reflect my visit for sure.

I was reading in Audi-sport and they said there is a MMI software update that addresses the issue.
