As many of you know, the RS3's exclusive red color (Catalunya Red) in 2018 was replaced with Tango Red in 2019. What you guys may not know is that Tango Red is available on the A3, S3, and RS3. I saw a deep red A3 on the road the other day and looked into it, finding this out on the way.

This means that if any of you wanted to see what that color looks like, you'll have a good chance finding it at the dealer if all three cars in the 3-class can get it. I may have to visit my dealer and go look at one and compare it with mine. If I do, I'll take pictures for comparison.

It's also available on TT and R8. I have it on my current TT, and it's a subtle metallic but a VERY nice red with little orange color.

I've gone back and forth about a million times between Tango Red and Mythos Black... Still not sure, though my order is for Red right now...

My S3 is black, and the car before that was black. I love the super-stealth look, but that Tango Red is really nice. I feel like Catalunya Red was way too orange... the red/black contrast is really nice, especially with the black optics package.

I did not go with the red interior, it just seems too loud to me. I really like the aluminum and black carbon interior.

I have seen and watched that same video many-many times and love that Red on it !!!
I love the Tango Red and went with it for the 2019 on order.
I also did the,

• Fine nappa leather with RS 3 diamond stitching Seats: Black with Crescendo Red stitching, Dashboard: Black, Carpet: Black, Headliner: Black

I didn't want the Catalunya Red that had more of the Orange in it like the 2018 RS3.



I'm going to have to watch more closely my local Nashville Audi dealership to see an Audi A3 in the Tango Red Metallic.

It's great to see so many cars available in Tango Red, so people can see it in person far more likely. I want to find an A3 or S3 in that color so I can put my car next to it for a shoot.

The Tango red is prone to swirl. Definitely look at in bright daylight/sunshine and not in showroom lighting. Also videos never portray the real colour.

I'm dropping my Tango-Red-Metallic RS3 off to my guy that will be applying the CQuartz Ceramic multiple coats.
(That's when I actually take delivery of it)
He did my Challenger Hellcat and it looked like glass and stayed looking that way even after a year had passed.
Well worth the added expense if done by a Certified Technician and shop.

The best red is Piedmont Red.
Shown on the A3 Concept car from 2011.


Haven't seen a good red since.
