New A3 Owner - Sirius Question
Today I added a new '07 A3 2.0 S-line to the stable (see below). It has the base non-Bose Concert stereo and I want to add Sirius. I was planning on getting Sirius module 8E0 035 593, but I have been reading the forums at it appears that the new cars use module 8E0 035 593H. Apparently, the H has a single outlet.
Does anyone know which module I need for my new A3? Do I need the "H" module or will the standard one work?
Thanks!

It's pretty much goof-proof.
Here's a link to a DIY:<ul><li><a href="http://spaces.msn.com/mcdonst1/Blog/cns!1pt6HJLQ8RUTj7GTLFugwSCA!178.entry">Satellite receiver DIY install</a></li></ul>

Newer A3s have one lead coming out of the exisitng wiring system in the car.
I found this out when I finally took delivery of my A3 at the end of April and found the connector was different from that of the Sirius receiver box I bought from someone with a 2006 A3 (It was the "D" version--the one to be used with Nav--although I don't have Nav).
You can use older receiver boxes with two antenna inputs, you will just need to add a splitter to change from 1 connector to 2. I bought a Terk Sirius Splitter (SIR-SP) off Ebay (~$26), removed the plastic connector from the A3 single connector and the 2 plastic connectors on the splitter, and plugged the leads directly into the receiver box. It was easy as pie, really. Some have used dremels and such to shave or cut the plastic, but it's easier to remove the plastic connectors entirely--it's just a little tricky to figure out how.
I'm not sure what designates the new receiver boxes as having one connector, but don't discount buying an older receiver box if you find a good deal or want XM instead of Sirius.
