Hello,
My hood on my 2013 Audi A5 Coupe needs to be changed and I was looking and waiting on eBay for one that is the same color as my car but it just isn't happening. (waited 3 months so far) Just to give some background I do know how to change bumpers and hoods on cars so that would not be an issue.
Now I'm looking at my options:
1) Take it to a mechanic and have him change the hood and paint it but this is looking to be well over 1000$
2) Buy a primed hood online (500$) and have someone paint that to the color scheme.
3) Wait till a used hood in my color comes out.
4) This one is far fetched and will probably get a lot of people laughing at me but there are a bunch of A4 hoods that are the color I need and go half the price. Is there any chance those would fit? I know the chances are the specifications are off but im not so sure.
Please let me know what you think I should do.

Where did you find a 2013 a5 hood primed online?

Finding a good condition hood is very rare (from those doing a face lift).............finding one in the same color slim (note you should post what color you are looking for JUST IN CASE someone reading may know of one).

A4 hood will not fit.
