2015 S5 Amp install
I installed a external amp in my 2015 S5 today. The problem is it appears no matter which fuse I choose in the back fuse box on passenger side it is always on. I'm lost at finding a remote switch fuse to use. Things like radio or MMI seem to always have power. How is that? Every fuse I checked with the multi-meter it was showing 12v.
Is there something I'm missing?
Thanks in advance
Shane

open the passenger side panel in the trunk, there is a relay you can use labeled 645 that I'm pointing to, use lug #2 for you feed, I had the same issue as you when looking for my remote power for my Rockford Fosgate powered sub, did a lot of googling and found info to use that relay, it comes on with the start button, and off with ignition off.

I just reread my post, the way described it is confusing, sorry. There will only be power with the motor running, and cut off when the motor is off, so when you test it out, make sure the motor is running. good luck!
