I am told there is no available front license plate bracket or holder. There are two holes low on the grille that resemble what a plate holder would attach to. Dealer screwed plate on making two holes into plastic of grille. I bought this car a few weeks ago and love it only 7200 miles on it and looks brand new but for the plate holder. Part dept and parts mgr say there is no such thing. Not sure I believe it. Does anyone have any information on this?

I assume the linked part is the rear license plate frame. There is no front license plate frame for B9.5. Screw into the bumper cover is Audi's official process. Yes, they have gotten that cheap.
But if you search around, this has already been discussed on multiple occasions in the B9 forums (A4, S4, A5/S5, Q5). Including what others have used as alternative solutions.
And the B9 specific A5/S5 forum is actually this one: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/aud...cabrio-b9-220/

OK, well I thought the drawings showed a front plate mount. And I guessed the S5 and/or Cabriolet was the same as my RS5. My ‘22 came with a front plate mount but I chose (and signed a doc at the dealership) to leave it off. I’ll have to look for it in storage and see if there’s a part number. But, if the S5 is different I guess it’s a moot point.

What I don’t understand is why there are the two brass screw holes lower on grille that a plate holder gets attached to on other models. Perhaps they share a grille.

The B9.5 RS does have a license plate holder in the parts catalog. For 6W3, you should have a 8W0 807 285 BM 9B9. But it still uses four self-tapping screws (N90915901) to secure to the vehicle.
The preinstalled inserts are for China. You have to drill the upper two holes for China or Japan and install the M6 inserts. Japan doesn't have lower bolts, the inserts for the China lower bolts are preinstalled. You just make holes for self-tapping screws for US. You see the indent in the lower plate mount where the US screws go. As mentioned, all this has been discussed before. Though I can't recall if it was here or Audizine, one of the two.
