Just bought a new 2018 Audi A5 coupe , but can not use the garage door opener . It showed me on the display has been program successfully , but still can not open the garage door !

And I used the same process on my 2018 A4 , it works !

Please let me know how I can use the garage door opner on my A5 ?

I'd read the manual, just because they're both the same year and Audi doesn't mean the process is the same. Also if the garage door uses a "rolling code" which most late model ones do they can be finicky. Try again.

If your garage door opener has LED or CFL bulbs they may be interfering with the Homelink. There is a thread here that describes the solution. Search for Homelink. Requires a fuse removal programming then re-installing the fuse.

If your garage door opener has rolling codes, you will need to synchronize it after it is programmed. This is covered on page 45 in th manual. I struggle with this for hours and finally got it to work.
