Default Newer 2015 S5 with 70k miles or older with lower miles?

Hi all! I'm looking for an Audi S5 and have found a 2015 with around 70k miles for a comparable price to a 2010-2012 model.
I realize 70k is a lot of miles for a car that is only 3 years old, but would I be better off getting a 2015 with higher miles or an older model with fewer?
Were there substantial improvements in the 2015 over the previous years?

The B8 (2007-2012) was a NA V8 and the B8.5 (2013-2017) was a SC V6. There were also cosmetic changes between the B8 and B8.5, e.g., headlights, taillights, steering wheel, dash trim.

Forgot to mention, the First Gen DSG (if you are going DSG over manual) was an issue for folks with the B8 and early 2013 B8.5s that were built with the first Gen DSG.

With either, I would opt for a PPI from a reputable Indy Shop that specializes in German cars. They can tell if the car has issues, etc. You can call AoA and provide the VIN to determine if the car was ever flagged TD1 due to an ECU/TCU tune.

How do you plan on using the car? Planning to tune?

Sorry, I'm not mechanically literate - what is DSG, PPI, TD1, ECU/TCU?

Sorry, I should have spelled them out.

DSG - direct-shift gearbox (double clutch transmission)

PPI - pre-purchase inspection

TD1 - a flag designated by Audi when a car is modified, specifically an engine tune (reprogramming boost, air/fuel tables, etc)

ECU - engine control unit (controls the engine parameters, boost, air, fuel, etc)

TCU - transmission control unit (controls the transmission parameters, shift points, grip force, etc.

Just throwing this out there for fun: Mine is not newer but with same miles and in beautiful shape, FS for 18.5K. It's one of the few V8's with MT and The most striking body and LED light design IMHO compared to the newer models. Still get people asking me about this car because of her looks and aggressive lights. But it's a 2011 and if it doesn't sell, it's OK by me (but not my wife....), not to mention an amazing winter car as well. Good luck with your search!

Your car sounds really nice and at a very good price! I recently pulled the trigger on a 2013 cab with 40k miles. Haven't picked it up yet but really looking forward to driving her! Thanks for posting and I hope (I think) you sell her if for nothing more than peace at home.
You know what they say - "If mamma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy." :-)

Thanks for the clarification! I'm slowly learning the lingo! :-)
