2011 S5 Oil Dipstick
Wanting to make sure I order the correct one...is htis it?
OIL DIPSTICK (S5 B8 4.2L V8)
Also - can I leave it in the car or only use it for measuring then replace with the stopper?

ECS Tuning sells the dipstick for your B8 S5 (4.2L V8). Here's the link:

The manufacturer part number can be found in the product page.
And, yes, if the dipstick is the correct one for your vehicle, it can be left in place of the plug. The dipstick in my S5 has been in there since day 1.
