So, I ended up painting the side mirrors glass back to match the gloss black door blades. Wrapping the mirrors was a bit of a pain for me, I watched so many videos but I found it a bit of a pain to smooth out the air bubbles. Here is a before shot of red side mirrors and no door blades

... I like the black side blades, but i think i prefer the way the mirrors looked before. ( I might paint this back, this was a trial error project )

 

Forgot to mention, I paid $280 for the door blades, used off ebay, older S5. I had them painted and installed with 3M double sided glue (Pepboys $9.99 for a 5ft strip) and bolted on with like on an S5. I stopped by the Dealership to check how they are mounted. On A5, they appear to be just glued on, but on the S5, they are bolted on with a plastic clip. I purchased 9 clips for $2.70 each at the dealer, and drilled holes to the lower panel of my car, bolted, and glued the blades, like on an S5. Paint and installation was $150 for both. In all I paid $280+$150+$27+$9.99 (clips) $467 approx for door blades. Dealer wanted $920 for new blades and installation. Paid $125 to have mirrors painted. Dealer wanted $250.

Re: 2014 Audi A5 2.0 AWD with 9700 Miles

Last night while driving home late night, orange warning light "ECP" came on. I could feel my car sort of jerking as I accelerated. I drove 30 miles home, but as I got close to home, I could smell gasoline, and a lot of fumes coming from the exhaust.

Today I connected VAG COM. this is what the printout looks like...
Part seem to indicate Ignition coil, and something else.

Has this happened to anyone else?
Does anyone know if this is covered under warranty?
