On a 2009 S5 you can order AMI even if the car doesn't have Nav, does anyone know if this option can be added by the dealer? I want to be able to hook up an Ipod classic to the B&O system.

A gen 1 ipod is not compatible with AMI. All the A5/S5s come standard with an auxilary jack now. Traditionally adding AMI has been very expensive as well.

There is a CAN AMI retroffitting package available from Audi now.

so you can use the Auxiliary jack to hook up any ipod? I don't have one but thinking of buying a Ipod Classic.
