Didn't they sell 115 or so in Sep?
Where is this 300 number coming from? US only or globally?
If I remember correctly there was a report early october that said Audi sold or had orders for something like 115 cars in Sep. from the US.
I ordered Sep. 25 and I still don't have a build date let alone a delivery time of early Jan.

So, it looks like at least 4 Sept orders are all arriving Jan 14th....
..according to the responses in this thread.
Gives me (perhaps false) hope that my Octobr order will come in sometime in late Feb...

I thought being exclusive is actually having the vehicle. But it seems, the fact that you have an order for one makes it exclusive. The people who actually own one probably has yet to see another S5 on the road. Take that BMW 335!

depends on dealer allocation also. You could be 1st at
one dealer and 5th at another. If they only get one of the 1st 300 you would have to be #1 at your dealer. I have purchased from the same dealer for 10 years and he moved me to 1st on his list
