audi a5 b8.5 A/C leak help

hi everyone hope someone could help me out. so my aircon button wouldn't work when i pushed it in, it would light up but soon as i let go of the A/C button the light goes off. took it to my mate who's a mechanic and he re-gassed it for me, everything working brilliant then a week later stopped working again, my mate checked and there was no gas so he did a pressure test and its holding pressure. what would you recommend to check or buy so i can sort this A/C problem before i fry to death in the heat this year 😅
