Another thing is that the cover for the moonroof isn't thick, it's more like a thin cloth sheet that magnifies the heat. They should have tried to make that thicker.

I agree with this. I'm not that bothered by the sunroof that doesn't open, but the sunshade is not opaque enough and doesn't block enough light and heat.

Hello,
I hope someone reads this. As a certified YouTube mechanic I often try to fix things myself. This time it didn't work out. One side of my sunshade came unglued causing it to bunch up. I thought I could reglue it in the track, easier said than done, but my main concern is the is a hinge in the front that I snapped off. Is this a part I can buy or do I need a new sunroof? I guess 6 t screws isn't enough to hold it on. Not one A5 sunroof removal video on YouTube 😫
