Cabrio soft top issue

OK, Love my car but it's at the dealership with a soft top issue. For some reason my top will not got down and says ROOF NOT SECURE now.. they have looked at it for 2 days now and say they will have to call the main tech line for help, they say the hydraulics will not release, Can they not purge the pump system and release the pleasure like they would if they put in a new pump or arm? just doesn't make sense that they haven't tried that yet? anyone ever have this problem or heard of an issue like this? Any help would be appreciated!!

Manual Convertible Top Reset

I know this is an old post but if you have a problem with the convertible top do this video procedure exactly first (just make sure all the windows are down)...
