First check the fuses- left side of dash.
The hydraulic pump is in the trunk.
BUT- Sometimes the top has to be reset, somehow it gets of of synch.
Go on you tube for the instructions on how to do this; basically manually put the top down and back up carefully and exactly as it describes. Probably listed under Audi top problems or some such.
