Default Bzzt, wrong answer, try again. By width I assume you mean shoulder room, not overall width.

B7 A4: Front 1400mm / Rear 1357mm
B8 A4: Front 1410mm / Rear 1380mm

B8 A5: Front 1400mm / Rear 1367mm

C5 A6: Front 1427mm / Rear 1415mm
C6 A6: Front 1450mm / Rear 1421mm

So it's virtually the same as the current A4, and significantly narrower than any A6.

Default Im talking exterior size. I already know that the size of the rear seats on a C6 are larger...

The roof also doesnt crush your skull on the A6, unlike the S5.

Default You are seriously splitting hairs here - take a look at Audi's specs (pictures included)

I've had both cars and they sit identical (as far as width) in my garage. Anyway like I said, exterior "BODY" width is about the same.

S5 = 72.99"
A6 = 73.03"
------------
Only .04 variance

That there is as close as it gets and is virtually identical. Not concerned about the mirrors here and Im not talking length - just body width.

Game over

Default Have you run your moded S5 against a stock RS4 on the track and street?

I would imagine that the S5 is better on the street.

Default Hater?? You're not making any sense...

I love my B7 S4 and have also owned an RS4. I am going to purchase another RS4 in the next month or so because it's such a beast and the engine is absolute heaven, i miss it. It handled like a pig compared to my modded S4, but i will put coilovers on it this time to rectify that i hope. I really WANTED to love the S5, and was planning on buying one, but came away pretty unimpressed after the test drive. It is too big and bulky in my opinion. I was hoping for a compact coupe with great handling, HP was not a concern really. If you like your S5, great, that's all that matters. Don't be a douche and get all pissy when someone disses your car, this is a forum for opinions. Don't read the forum if you can't take a little negative commentary on your car of choice. Even if i haven't owned a B7S4 or an RS4, that doesn't negate my opinion of an S5.
