EPC light flashes around 1100/1200 rpm
I am Concerned about my 2010 Audi A5 2.0t Quattro.
My car has been stalling and occasionally shuts down while driving
I've seen on some post that their epc light stays on while their check engine light flashes. My Audi epc light will flash on and off around 11/1200 rpm and it feels like it's misfiring. I've read maybe it's the engine speed sensor? Please help because this is gettin pretty dangerous for me to drive, especially when it dies out on me at an intersection etc. please help!

Replace all 4 spark plugs and gap them accordingly.

[QUOTE=Rknsr77;25607217]Scan for codes. Then check ignition system. This would involve installing new spark plugs with the correct gap and also installing new coil pack(s).

I have the code P0341 and what happens is sometimes when the rpm is at 1500/1600 the EPC light flashes and sometimes it also shut down while driving but then I start it up again with no issues.

The flashing EPC is caused by the misfiring. If you're going to own a VAG car then Ross-Tech Vagcom or another good scanner is a must. I recently got a misfire code on my '13 S5 3.0T and it reset when I shut it off and restarted but when I would get high RPM's and Boost it would come back while on my drive home. I scanned it when I got home and it was a misfire showing in cyl 5. The plugs only had about 8k so I figured it was the coil. Luckily I had a set of 8 new coils so I installed a new set of plugs since I was in there and new coils and it's been 100 miles since with a couple of hard runs and no sign of misfires. With Vagcom you can log individual cylinders adn see if there are any misfires in the misfire counter long before a code is thrown and long before a CEL is logged.
