Assuming it's from original owner with clean title and record. 41k is great. If he takes 40k then you got yourself a flat great deal there. Ppl are paying 40k for a used A5 with more miles than that.

Thanks for the offer on the lease assumption, but I'm looking to keep the price at/around 40k and am in no immediate hurry to purchase--thus I can wait a little while for prices to fall if need be.

CPO=Certified Pre-Owned which you won't get from a private party sale

Who would care about CPO at this time? it only have 14k and a couples of years for original warranty. I rather pay private party price and bring the car back for Audi to get Certified and still have a couple thousands left for other things. Even if it was CPO at this time, that would be gone way before he hits 100k mark anyways. Audicare is +++.
