We have the same project coming up soon.
I'll post some more detail once I break the car in and spend a full tank with ESP off... heh. I'm still loving this thing, though. 800 mile road trip this weekend.

The lack of sunroof thing is actually tolerable. My other car, and daily driver for five years, was
... the TT Roadster. I'm happy to say that I made good on my promise to always have the top down unless it was raining or snowing. So I'm used to being without a roof altogether. The S5's lack of sunroof isn't ideal, but it works for me.

I dunno ... I've had Audis for 10 years and ...
Every one has had 100% orange peel including 2005 Ibis S4 and 2006 Daytona A4. Prior to that Allroads, A6s etc. All had full orange peel no matter the color.
I've had people tell me it's a feature, not a flaw. I dunno, but it doesn't bother me too much although I wouldn't miss it either.
