Default My 2011 A5

Hey guys, just picked up a new 2011 A5 from the dealer this past weekend. They had it on the lot for less than 24 hours before I got it(not a pre-order). The car has 6 miles on it when i bought it.

Below are some details and pics of the car. If you want a specific pic, let me know.

Specs:

2011 Audi A5 2.0 TFSI Coupe
Prestige Trim level
8-Speed Tiptronic Transmission
S-Line package
Brilliant Black Exterior
Black interior with Alcantara seat inserts

I'm scheudled with the dealer to get the windows tinted and de-badged later this week. Will post more pics after that.

Let me know what you guys think!

Looks great, I don't discern any change over MY2010. Just like mine except the color. The 2.0TFSI will feel more powerful after you have broken her in. Enjoy!

Hotness! You have great taste. So when do we get a full report on the performance of the new 8-speed? Also, avoid the dealer for things like tint and debadging... they are going to charge you an arm and leg for their labor.

I like it, makes things very smooth. It is a little weird when you're in Tiptronic or using the paddle shifts and the display says "M8" though. lol

The acceleration is fluid, and very little engine noise because the RPM's stay pretty low while in Drive. In Sport the pickup is quick and gear changes are very fast.

Coming from my 2008 A4 2.0T with MT6, i much prefer this Tiptronic. It shifts faster than i did and traffic is cake. The launch from a stand still isn't bad either. It's easy to quickly drop 2 gears with the paddle shifters in traffic or is someone pulls up next to me.

Coming from my 2000 A8 with Tiptronic, it feels about the same but maybe a little more aggressive. That’s expected I guess.

Thanks. When I first heard about it I thought why do we need two more gears? Isn't six enough? Why do you suppose Audi did it? Better gas mileage? Better acceleration? Wondering what the advantage is.
