Oil in Boost Tap Lines from PCV
For those that have installed a boost gauge or boost tap into the PCV line, just keep an eye on the oil that will travel into the hose to the reader (electric gauge) or to the gauge itself (mechanical).
I have a buzz filter inline and recently changed the filter along with the gauge and that filter was filthy with oil also causing the filter housing to weaken and crack allowing oil to get all over the place.
I will post pictures of what it looks like once i get a chance to upload them.
Cheers!

Carbon Buildup
Also, I can see how people have concerns/issues with carbon buildup on these direct injected motors or issues with throttle, etc. cause this is the stuff that is going back into the intake manifold.
If there is a good Catch can setup that someone has setup for the 2.0T motors, please let us know.

Something you may be interested in looking at, it's a very well sorted out item manufactured by Mann & Hummel, Pro vent 200: http://www.034motorsport.com/engine-...0-p-20193.html
This is a lil way to rectify the oil mist that leaves a film on all parts of the intake of all forced induction engines. it even introduces the ability to drain caught oil back into the oil sump of the engine, much better then the tipical catch can.
