I would also be interested in see what other members use to travel around with their 4 legged friends in their S5/A5. I have a 65lb Basset Hound I want to haul around but don't want his monster feet and drool to tear anthing up. I had a Tacoma previously and it was easy....now...not so much.

i am most interested in just basic protection for the OEM seat from my canine buddy, but The Wife & others will occasionally be using the passenger seat, too.
i do not want anything that is ugly, uncomfortable or poor fitting.
saw some cheap stuff in the local auto parts store over the weekend.
around $25 for a passenger side cover for a seat with separate head rest.

the ones Weathertech sells for one front seat (which i assume are of V good quality) are hideous looking (based on photos i see on the web site) & hideously expensive at $130+ ea.

I have a 15 lb mutt. I just lay a bath towel over the passenger seat and tuck it in. Do the same in my Q7.

The only bad thing about him in the vehicles is he tends to step on the MMI buttons at times, changing modes on me.

I got a big bolt of fabric from Ocean State Job Lot in the same color as my seats and stretched it over the back seat bottoms. Looks OK because it's the same shade and I tucked it in neatly so it doesn't look too sloppy.

Do you have any issues with the deeper in-set rear seats or the hump/storage area between the two and your pet walking around? I thought about just folding down the rear seat altogether, since they look like they fold pretty flat and even with the trunk area. It seems like would seem much easier with my goofy dog's big feet, but if the thicker fabric works, I may go that route too.

I put a towel in that inset area to make it a little flatter. My dog is under 20 lbs. so it's not a huge problem. I wanted something I could leave in place vs. folding the seats down.
