I bought my car from dealer I've bought 8 cars over the years
number one plus I sent emails to 6 other dealers 3 of them
willing to do same deal.
I've bought 2 R8 cars new a coupe in 2009 (wifes) a spider for
2012 (which Heffner did twin turbo).

My dealers 2 allocations were sold. He called his Audi rep
gave them my name then they gave him this additional allocation.
I was on Audis VIP list (very ignorant Person)

While your waiting here is one my brother picked up today. This was actually my car....... I had a deposit down almost two years ago but got tired of the wait and moved on. Sorry OP but these guys were getting restless.

Only serious review of the Face lift 2013 was in German a couple of months ago. The updates made to the 2013 model should make it interesting. Old reviews didn't put the RS5 as class leading. Autoblog did a nice write up of the RS5 a while back (in the snow)

Getting mine at same time in Illinois...i hope my dealer ordered it without the plate as i asked. I'm willing to risk it. Drive with no plate on my TT and never had a problem. have a plate to stick on when parking.

No need to worry, plate mount comes off with 4 screws and you can't tell it was ever mounted. Don't sweat it!
