Noticed a couple of pieces of fabric hanging from between the headliner and the window this morning. Took a photo and it appears a piece has come unglued on both sides. Called the dealer and have it scheduled to go in.

Has anyone experienced this before and what was the fix. Also noticed some significant wear on the exterior on the rear section which I'm not too happy about. I do have an extended warranty so am hopeful it might be covered.

S5 has been in the dealership now for four days.
They had to consult a convertible roof specialist who is giving me the following solutions:
They also said that the roof is seeing some sagging so this might just be the beginning!!

1) Pull back the headliner, repair the piece that has come away, no guarantee that this will fix it and in fact they are saying that if the remove the headliner it could lead to further problems. $950
2) Aftermarket roof replacement - $4K
3) Audi roof replacement - $7K+

My extended warranty (bought through the Audi dealer whom I bought the car from) does not cover convertibles, even though I explicitly asked the finance guy when he sold me the warranty. Small print not provided until after the policy arrived in the mail three weeks after purchase.

Its a 2013 with 56K on it..... not impressed.
Anyone else have a similar experience?

Sorry to hear about your trouble with the fabric top. I have a 2012 and I have not had this problem. I will keep an eye on the top more now that I know it could be a problem in the future.
