Will the 2015 RS5 get the same engine as the S6 / S7 ?

Something seems off with this IMO. 2015 is a new platform for the A5. So are they saying that they will continue to make RS5s using the old platform through 2015 even as they roll out new platform A/S5s? (so basically what BMW did with the E90/92 M3 still shipping post F30)
While possible this seems weird for the US since it has been said by Audi all along (and reported by every publication) that the US was getting the RS5 for "the last two years of the B8 models lifespan) - '13 and '14.
Not saying it's not possible, just that Amanda in VIP sales is contradicting everything that has been said publicly by Audi corporate. The "only 1500 to the US, only 2 model years" mantra was told directly to all of the motoring press and there hasn't been a single peep of that changing since. A *completely new* RS5 in the EU in '15 or '16, with a US release listed as a question mark as usual, really would make a lot more sense.
