Default 17” winter wheels

Will actually fit a S5. 17x7.5 ET35 from Costco. OEM replica meaning no hub centring rings. Seem like decent quality, exceeding some of the TireRack offerings such as Sport Edition and MSW.

I had 17” Audi OEM wheels from the A6 that would not fit. They were 17x8 ET40, but rubbed the front caliper.

I run 18" winter tires and just went up an aspect on the sidewall height. (I believe 45)

Such little clearance between the wheel and the brakes would be concerning to me.

Either they fit or they don't fit.

Have you had them balanced yet? what if the weights need to go in line with the brakes? bet they will hit.

Even if they do fit with the weights you are then getting even closer spaces for stuff to get stuck in...

Did you actually ally buy them at COSTCO? That’s something I’ve never seen down here.

No tires yet. There's enough room closer to the rim to mount weights so that clearance isn't an issue. The weights are not in the same vertical plane as the caliper even though the pictures don't appear to show it. The wheel manufacturer claims they'll fit.

edit: Sent the manufacturer an email asking them how they test fit their wheels. They actually don't; their fitment guide is done by dimensions only. I've asked them to look into it further.

They were never seen at a US-based COSTCO store 4 years ago when I checked. It seemed to me that COSTCO Canada might have had a deal with some Canadian distributor to carry them in Canada.

As for fit — you’d have to drop a PM to the original poster.
