Q: Does the current OEM Audi RS5 grill have the sensors in the right place? Or are the sensors on the RS5 have a different placement?

Yes they do have them placed correctly as the actual OEM RS5 grille does not have that lower "second" grille that the replica RS grille has. Thereby giving it more space for fitment.

Here's a picture of my S5 today, post my failed RS style grille install.
I successfully installed the Audi oem black optic lower 3 grilles, and the matte black front Audi rings emblem.

Looks good. Where did you get the black rings emblem? I've seen a few on eBay but wasn't sure if they would fit on the B9 grille.

Much appreciation guys! Here's a few more pics I took today as I like gloomy weather pictures.
Any Audi rings emblem off eBay that measures 10.75x3.75 will fit the front of the B9 A/S5.
Here's the exact link of where I got mine. Keep in mind mine is matte black. Some may prefer gloss.

@BreedsAs Where did you buy the aftermarket RS5 grille please? on eBay?
I have searched a few but not sure if the fitment is guaranteed.

Your car looking perfect as usual. The brushed window trim really meshes well with your wheels too.

So the parts for our fix came in. Trying it out now. So far sizing and connector are right on. Will report back if it works.
