This rendering from last Feb year isn't too horrific actually.
https://www.carscoops.com/2022/02/20...-else-we-know/ It needs more rakish grilles if it wants to look like a full fat RS though!

The spy shots above aren't too bad, it's a bit streamlined-electric-vehicle look but not horrendous.
Personally I don't like the way the Audi EV design is going (apart from the RS) eg the Q3/4/6 etc. It's really Volkswagen, I cannot stand VWs new EV models with a passion.
The upcoming Tiguan and Passat are an actual shame as the outgoing models are arguably one of the best designed.

Anyway rant over. Back to the B10. Added some wheels, tints and black bits and she's looking a bit tastier. Needs some red calipers. (very amateur job but you get the gist)

The exterior is not bad (especially with those 20" wheels like mine ), I worry more about the interior that I saw so far...

Yes, on the interior. I want to see if they have integrated the MMI screen better. I hate that "Ipad stuck on the dash" look. But, I don't want to see the HVAC controls moved to a touch screen, like the A6

It actually looks like the e-tron GT has the best MMI/HVAC setup? I haven't been in one though, they might be a pig to operate.
I don't mind the controls on the lower touch screen, we have a '20 Q7 with it. One wipe with a microfibre and she's gleaming again too.
Agree on the tablet look though, it's definitely had its time.

This design creates a visible seam between the hood and fender. We never had this before.

It's like the hood on an Acura TLX. Almost impossible for that seam to be perfectly aligned and look-right. Along the front also.

The angle is just-right to prevent glare. If Audi was to have it "rise up out of the dash" ... this is how it would look extended.

My wife's friend has an older Audi. She commented on how nice the screen looked compared to hers (especially for views outside the car). Not just the size but also clarity.

The B9s were the first gen with the clamshell hood. Previous generations all have a visible line between the fender and hood.

Mercedes has started doing the same thing with its hood where it stops short of the front grill.

Compared to the B9 wagon, I think the B10 looks sleeker. Maybe that’s a result of Audi making it part of the A5 family now.

I agree with the Acura comment. I cringe every time I look at one. But if anyone can get that seam right it's Audi. Just don't ever get in any kind of front end collision because most body shop won't be able to get that right again LOL.

The design isn't especially ugly, but it's mostly anonymous and could easily be confused with the newest Hyundai or Kia. There is certainly nothing motivating me to buy it, unlike when the B9 S5 was first introduced.
