The Audi A5 is a pretty quiet car so the wind noise around the B pillar does stand out in my car when the music is off. Have others experienced this? I'm thinking this is a consequence of the frameless door glass and a less tight seal than a framed door window.

I think my BMW 428i coupe had it as well, but the A pillar wind noise in the coupe was ridiculous for how nice a car it was. At least the Audi does not have that.

If I'm hearing it over the music I check the windows and sometimes one of them isn't sealing properly. Agreed on the A pillar wind noise in the 4 series. If I'm driving on the service road of the QEW I hear the traffic more, but then I seem to recall hearing that in previous BMWs. I think the excessive whitish wind noise from the A pillar tended to mask noise coming from the side with the 4 coupe.
