Default ACNA

Hey all,

I was wondering if it was worth buying the lifetime membership. i dont need the 6% discount but would like to get involved in the community and go on rallies etc. Can anyone tell me if its worth paying for if one doesn't need the discount. I'm located in NY if this matters

I just looked at the local chapter to see what and where their events have been. My suggestion is to do the same and see if their events align with what you are interested in.

As far as “Lifetime” it would not be worth it for me, at my age. As always, YMMV.

Get a 2 or 3 year membership to try it out ($79 and $108, respectively). I enjoy their quattro quarterly magazine and occasionally attend local club events.

I enjoy the magazine and have not attended any of the events as they do not align with my calendar. I do not "need" the 6% discount but the certificate does get the dealer a few dollars back from AoA so that is worth a few more dollars off the car price to me.

Not sure why one would not "need" the 6% discount, but it was worth it to me to buy the lifetime for $750 because I joined less than 6 months before taking delivery of my S5. Lifetime got the discount, annual would not have.

i know the owner of an Audi dealership. My discounts for everything but my rs5 are over 6%. Is there anything else you like about being part of acna?

I am in ND, flyover country, and closest chapter is in MN and still a few hundred miles away, so I have not partaken of any of their activities. May later this summer as they have an event at the Brainerd Raceway that is only about 100 miles from my MN lake place. But as said, I joined strictly for the discount.
