Any easy/electronic way to boost exhaust sound?
Sorry if this has already been covered, but I've seen a lot of info about physical exhaust mods/add-ons. I've also seen a lot of info about various electronic tweaks through VAG/COM, which is pretty mysterious to me, although I do know how to use an OBD device. My car is a 2018 A5 Sportback which I love, but I would prefer to have a little louder/beefier exhaust sound. So my question is - is there any easy way to electronically modify the exhaust note without screwing anything up or jeopardizing the warranty? Any ideas with detailed how-to instructions would be much appreciated. Thanks

Already built in the drive select system, see below, amplifies the engine sound in the cabin through the speakers a bit more, still won't sound as good as the Soundracer V8 Shelby though haha.
Drive Select -> Engine Sound -> Dynamic

OP - the answer I believe is yes: Audi uses a Soundaktor which is their name for a speaker they have placed against the firewall to generate artificial engine noise.
Here is a video illustrating an A/B difference of the Soundaktor on with normal behavior vs. off with the fuse pulled. Complimenting this, I believe I once upon saw some posts here on Audiworld suggesting it is possible to go in via ODB11 and modify the volume of the soundaktor so that is louder or quieter than originally programmed at the factory. Obviously this would only affect engine noise as perceived inside the cabin. You could search or perhaps someone can confirm and provide a link.
I believe the volume of the Soundaktor is already modulated somewhat via DriveSelect; for example I believe Comfort Mode turns it off to help make things quieter. I could be wrong.
Note this video is for a B8 but the Soundaktor is also present on B9.

>>To mute the Soundaktuator
A9 Structure Borne Sound
Adaptation 10
At Channel drop down choose "Volume of structure borne noise actuator" (only choice)
Enter a value in the proper box (0% = mute )
