Default Anyone Autocross their B9?

I’m going in my S5 SB tomorrow. First time in any car...we’ll see how it goes.

Soooooo that was awesome.

Super fun and a great safe way to push the limits of our cars. I got my S5 sliding sideways a bit but the Quattro and sport diff always pulled through.

Tires are not happy though.

Fontana? I might try next year. Where's a good place to get info about the events?

this was in the parking lot of “Qualcomm” SDCCU Stadium in San Diego. It’s a cone course.

Look up SCCA events. I did a novice drivers school yesterday. Worked with an instructor all day on improving my lines and times. Did around 25 runs so lots of seat time. There was a B8.5 S5 Coupe and B8.5 S4 that were fast...and a new TT but it was slow and quiet.

I have a few vids...just need to figure out how to post them here.

I have not, but I have done a few Julian, Mt. Palomar, Highland Valley Rd, and Borrego runs with a big smile (responsibly pushing it a bit)! Gotta go again now that I also got the 034 strut brace and a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S for shoes. Curious about auto cross session, let me know next time you go!

Hell yea I’ll let you know. The novice school was only $70 and went from 7:15am to 4:30pm. Lunch included, but you do have to get out and work the course (wave flags, reset cones). But it’s a great time to watch other cars and how others negotiate the turns.

This was the fastest section. I’m stock but pretty much hit 2nd gear redline right before the chicane, shift to 3rd, lift, hit chicane, downshift, back to gas...fun
