Audi A5 Sportsback Windows rattling noise
Hi All here,
I just got new 2018 Audi A5 Sportsback (Mythos Black, Premium Plus). I do hear lot some rattling noise from windows when I am on some bumpy roads. On Freeways there is no sound or rattling. I did take to the dealer once, and they tried to clean the window slits, which has reduced the noice. But its not completely gone. Sometimes I feel, there is some noise from the moon roof inner cover too. I am in California, US so there is no freeze issue too here as I have read in some other forums.
The dealer said it is because it is a new car and things are just settling in. All this will go away by the time of first service. I find it little hard to believe them. So I wanted to post here and see if others have seen similar issues. Are the dealers right ? Is it because of frame less windows design of the car ? If any one faced this kind of issue, how did you fix it or how did you guys deal with the dealership ?
Thanks

This is common in frameless door cars. I had it in my Volkswagen CC as well. The rubber seals should be lubrucated with special rubber seal care lubricant from Audi/VW. There is also this which I used with success:
Dealer actually made it worse by applying some nasty stuff to the seals. So be careful how you treat the seals.
