Default Audi Rings

I leased a loaded S5 SB. Included was the absolute cheesy Audi rings shining brightly from my driver and passenger doors on the ground. Is there a way to shut them off other than by removing them or covering the lights with a sticker? It feels a bit over the top to me but came with the car.

Simply order the standard light lease and swap them out. Sell the Ring Logo lenses on eBay.....they are in high demand. Many people want the ring option.

I would be willing to bet someone on the forum would be willing to swap you your beam rings for their standard light assembly. They just pop in at the bottom of the door panel so they are easy to swap in/out. Heck, your dealer might even be willing to swap them out for a car on the lot and then add $250 to the car they installed them on since that is the MSRP from Audi for the accesory.

I too didn't think I would like the rings although they were already included in my pre ordered car. Now I actually like them.

Not sure how carefully they'd be checking for those when the lease expires!

As far as the Audi rings light, I could take it or leave it, If I had a choice, I would not buy it, but if its there already, I would not remove them. Its a bit tacky but not over the top like the Giant Mercedes light up tri-star emblem on their front grille.

Well, as the OP has a total of only 2 posts in 7 months . . . I think his interest in this forum was / is extremely limited!
