As I recall from reading the instructions a part of the well liner needs to be pulled out for the installation. Taking the wheel out makes the job easier, more space and no odd angles to work from.

Anyone know if these will fit the RS5? I'm getting the same thing installed on our A6 Allroad next week. Would like to do so for the RS5 too. Already have a rock chip I'm 99.9% certain are a result of the wider stance the wheels now have. These should help with some of the new exposure.

I may just order them and see if they fit. I've found that often there are different attachment points for each model line for parts like this...the engine bay covers I now have are an example, had to break off a tape and now they fit perfectly...

Are the RS5 fenders wider than the A5 / S5 fenders? No idea about fitment on the RS. As I posted earlier, the parts guy made it abundantly clear that they were not returnable / not refundable but that may just be my dealer.

Here's a link to discounted A5/S5 front guards for those interested.

Better to get at a local dealer if you can as audi parts adds roughly $18 in shipping/handling and takes time to ship.

Better known as mud flaps in the UK, they served a purpose. Very popular up till the mid 90’s.

The Jews use the term "Schmutz" for dust, lint, dirt, etc.

The 034 Air-Box is pretty good looking, I'd open my hood all the time just to see it!

You hit the nail on the head. The terminology my Dad’s side of family used in East London during the mid 80’s.
