AWE Touring and Switchpath
I asked AWE about this but maybe someone here's can comment....
I'm considering the Touring and Switchpath exhaust system for my Audi B9 S5 Sportback. I would like a just a little more sound from the exhaust and I don't want drone. To put thinks into perspective, I had Magnaflow mufflers on my B8 SQ5 and I was satisfied (well, almost) with the sound increase.
How the Touring and Switchpath (with the valve closed) compare in loudness to the stock exhaust?
How the Switchpath with the valves open compare in loudness to Switchpath with the valve closed?
Which one has less drone?
Finally, the Touring and Switchpath are only available with the non-resonated downpipes when used with the stock catalyst, right?

In case anyone was also wondering...
Both the Touring and SwitchPath will offer up a louder than stock but still subtle sound at part throttle and cruising speeds. Touring will be a little quieter than the Sp system though. Not by a lot.
The Touring resonators ensure you get no drone at cruising speeds and high way speeds. However, when you accelerate and get harder on the throttle, it comes to life with more volume and a smooth sportscar tone.
The SwitchPath will bring out the perfect daily driver tone and volume with the valves closed but when opened, it is as loud and aggressive sounding as the Track Edition is.
We offer these non-resonated for use with the stock catalyst. The resonated versions are for use with the Performance cat.
