B & O 3D audio system
I finally got a chance to throw in my CD I always used to test audio system and here is my assessment of the upgrade B & O 3D audio system with treble at mid, bass at 35%, fader one notch back and all sound affects off. The system overall is bass heavy, not sure why any one would want to throw in an aftermarket sub. The treble sounds pretty good, mid range is horrible. The vocal on most music sounds distorted at high volume while the highs and lows sounds pretty good at the same high volume. The system is seriously in need of a mid range adjustment in my opinion. Is it my imagination or does the system sound clearer at high volume than it does at low volume. Overall, it is an above average system in this price range.

So where are the 19 speakers? With the sub I expect an odd number but with the center speaker shouldn’t that bring it back to even? Are there two tweeters in the center?
In the SB I see
L and R dash
center dash
2 on each A pillar
two on each front door
two on each rear door
one on each C pillar
one sub under spare
?

My b&o is pretty new, I know some audio systems, much like engines, needs a break in period. Can anyone who have owe the upgrade b&o system for a while comment on that? Does the system sound better after a break in period?

That's weird I have audio upgraded to B&O in my 2017 A5 but I never could locate the subwoofer. The above pic shows like it's built in the boot cover. Anyone willing to post a pic?

Is your car coupe or sportback? For the sportback the sub is in trunk where the spare tire normally sits.

Bass heavy is not how I would describe the audio system at all.

It's meh. Better than the H&K system in any of my former BMW's and somewhat better than the B&O system in my fathers C Class which is downright terrible no matter how you tune it.
